Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
Help!!!!!
about 2 years ago i left my ex girlfirnd who i was with for 20 years, we have a 14 year old child, i bought a house in 2003 when i was with her but with my own money and its just in my name, when i left i let her continue living there cause i didnt want my child to be put out, since then ive offered her help gettin an apartment offered her to have all the furnature to take with her, now with the economy as bad as it is i wanna move back in and put it up for sale before i lose it, she refuses to get out i offered her child support what ever the court says i have to pay i would give her according to my income, and i would still get her into a apartment and let her take my funature, she claims she has right to my house, she didnt put 1 cent into it nor did ever contribute to mortgage payments, she is refusing to get out, before i hire an attorny and give him the money ide rather save for my kids education, does she have any right to my house? can i just go down to my county court house and evict her, im ashamed that it has come to that but im backed in a corner.
