Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
I am 29 years old, not married but did live with a 68 year old man. I got pregnant, not sure who the father is, could be him, but...don't want to stay with him any longer. My son is 2 years old. Since he's rich and has a great house, I let my son live there, but I visit often. Now this man is threatening for total child custody.
Will I lose my son because he has money for attorneys and I don't?
Will a judge give a 68 year old man custody of a two year old?
Thanks

In the law a mother has a powerful claim to custody, no matter how much money the father has.
