adoption/grandparent visition

my grandson was adopted by his stepfather. do I as a grandparent have any rights to visitation?

Grandparents have a statutory right to visitation with their grandchildren. The question is are you the mother of the father or the mother of the child

because the adoption terminates the father's parental rights, in this instance. If the father is your son was your status as grandparent also terminated. I would have to research that question.

Of course, if your grandchild's mother is your daughter this issue does not exist.
