At what age can a minor child decide what parent they want to live with in New Jersey?

A minor child will never have the LAST SAY with regard to which parent he or she desires to live with. However, the court will give greater deference to a child who has reached "sufficient age" to reason and form an intelligent decision." According to NJ caselaw, this is usally at the age of 13-14.
