Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

aggravated assault w/ deadly weapon

My boyfriend got into in argument with his first childs mother. It ended up with him shooting her in the back of the leg with a bb gun and that is the charge they gave him.. they are due to appear in court soon and I wanted to know what will the judge sentence him to. If you know could you please tell me.

We need to back up here. Did he to to trial? Did he plea out? Why would you think sentencing is the next court date? He should have an attorney that would be more familiar with the case.

It is virtually impossible to tell you what he could be looking at without knowing the facts about the case.
