Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Alimony Issues

I am relocating to Florida and still have 3 years alimony left to pay my ex-wife.

Am I compelled to give the NJ Probation Dept. my new address?

Thanks.

Re: Alimony Issues

If you have been paying through the Probation Department, you are required to provide your new address. As long as you are doing what you are supposed to do, I cannot imagine why this would be objectionable to you. To get a more specific answer, you need to immediately contact a NJ lawyer who is experienced in this area. If you want me to assist you, feel free to call me at 856-546-8010; mention Law Guru and your first consultation will be free. Good Luck!
