Alimony reduction or elimination

I was divorced on 8/2000 but have a settlement from 12/99 where i was paying 1500 a month and was reduced to 1000 a month in 2001. I am suppose to pay until may 2004 when my ex gets to be 62. At the time of the settlement I was making 100,000+ a yr. I retired and became a consultant in 2000 after my company merged.In 2002 I was downsized in 7/2002 and haven't worked since. My ex has been living with another person since we were divorced. I have not payed 1000 a month since October 2002.

You wife living with another man, I assume, and your substantial loss of annual income could be a sufficient change of your circumstances warranting the filing of a motion under your divorce judgment requesting the reduction and/or termination of your alimony obligation.
