Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

alimony

two years ago I was divorced from my husband of twenty five years. Due to the circumstances of the divorce(He decided that he wanted to be a woman) I wanted out of the marriage as soon as possible and did not fully understand what my rights were. I did not seek alimony but would like to now. Can I still seek it?
