Alimony,Child and Resident

married for 23yrs. Living apart for past 15 yrs wife on SSI and 1 minor child age 17. Wife wants home but I'm recently unemployed home in foreclosure neither can buy the other out. Will I have to pay Alimony,child support and the cost of a new resident?

The parent with whom the child resides (Parent of Primary Residence) receives child support, and the other parent 9Parent of Alternate Residence) is require to pay child support.

From the limited facts, it doesn't appear you will have to pay alimony, but without more information it is hard to say. A court can find you are "employable" and impute income to you.

Child support yes, alimony no, new resident? You mean house? You really have no money to pay for anything from what it seems. The 15 years should help you out a lot, but I would need a lot more information.

I suggest you get an attorney. If you cannot afford one (don't just assume you can't, meet with some first) call legal services and see if you qualify.
