Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Atempting to Terminate my rights

My ex-girlfriend and I have 2 children together. I am the non-custodial parent. I temporarilly moved to NC to find suitable work. She has not permitted me to speak to my children in the 7 months I've been here, and has my cell phone number blocked. I've gone as far as having her local police check on the children for me. She's now claiming child abandonment and taking me to court to terminate visitation rights. I am paying child support. Can my rights be taken away? I plan on fully fighting this case.

You should be able to prove what she has been doing

between the police records of your call and her telephone records. You can also file your own cross motion for sanctions for her contempt of court.

Call me if you like.
