attorney fees w/intrest

i pay 50.00 month to my attorney for a bill. he charges me 100.00 a month in intrest.i am paying intrest on intrest. Is this right?

This sounds a pretty crazy. I never do this. I've seen attorneys that run up a bill and hit you with it when the case is over. We bill each month and if you stop paying, we stop working. Charging nominal interest on late payments is one thing, but this is usury.
