Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Re: Attorney did not follow up.

My attorney represented me in a dviorce case. Since then, the other side has flatly refused to follow the motions, agreements and court orders. 2 1/2 years later, the 13 complaints i have sent him 30 letters about have gone unanswered and the last time in court he stated to the judge that he did not act on them because he claimed my ex wife developed brain cancer and he thought it was better to try to work it out rather than bring her or at least her power of attorney to court. Now, I have been broguht to court by them three times and still he has not made motions to have them held in contempt. I tried to conatct the judge and speak to him or get a date in court and they refuse stating that since I have an attorney, they cannot even discuss anything with me. Is he liable? can he be reprimanded or sued for failing to act on written complaints? I am so lost and flat broke now and they still are in contempt on clear orders that they just refuse to comply? What the heck do i do?

Re: Re: Attorney did not follow up.

you state that you have no money to pay your former attorney. No attorney can work for free. You have been divorced for 2 1/2 years, you say.

All I can suggest is that you should hire an attorney to assist you.
