auto loans

I had taken out two auto loans with my girlfriend that i lived with. I am the co-signer on both. We have since split and i would like to know if there is a way to remove my name from both of these loans.

Re: auto loans

You can remove your name from the loans if your (ex) girlfriend refinances the loans. The lender's agreed to lend the money based on having both of you secure the principle and interest and will not voluntarily allow one borrower to be forgiven the amount of the debt.
