my boyfriend is been having trouble with his baby mother. she lives in PA and he lives in jersey, last night he found out that the babii was in Jersey and he decided to go and visit, when he went he told them that he wanted to take the baby with him since they always give him a hard time everytime he tries to take the babi example: call the cops on him. well he took the baby and this morning he got arrested, him, his mother, and 2 sister. they saying that he is gonna need a lawyer and that he was charged with kidnapping and misconduct, can this be possible if they dont have no custidy rights
also i want to add, that they went to court before and they came to an agreement that she cant take him out of the country without his permission . and she took him to dominican republic before so whats going to happen to my boyfriend all he wants is to spend time with his son? please answer my question

He definitely needs a lawyer. He has certain rights and obligations that need to be spelled out in a Court Order. What occurred is not surprising because the custodial rights have not been spelled out specifically.

This is not legal advice that you can rely on because we have never met and I have not been retained. For this type of action, you should seek the advice of counsel. Good luck! Rob Gleaner
