Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
What do I need to do to cash a check that is made out to the estate of my deceased son's name?
1 Answer from Attorneys
This depends on a couple of things. I really would need to talk it over with you. Is the check payable to your son? like this: "Jim Smith". or is it payable to his estate? like this: "Estate of Jim Smith" and was there an Estate probated in court?
Give me a call, make an appointment to come see me, and let's get moving on this for you. No charge for the telephone call and no charge for the first office visit.
