cashiers check

someone gave me a 25,000 cashiers check that was made out to him and he signed it and gave it to me. someone else cashed the check for me cause i never had that kind of money before. now the person who gave me the check wants the money and is trying to go after the person who cashed it for me? it was a gift to me and a portion of what he had owed me previously. this person who cashed the check is being threatened with theft by deception???

Re: cashiers check

Another fine mess. One might wonder about the original intentions of the

"gift giver." Of course someone other than you cashing the check contradicts your explanation, somewhat.

Call me because you must call an attorney for this mess.

Re: cashiers check

I agree with Mr. Moore, this sounds like a mess. You didn't really ask a question here, but it sounds like this is going to get worse. Especially due to the amount involved, you may want to get an attorney now before you make this worse for yourself.
