Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Certified Mail

I sent my ex-boyfriend all his tax papers from previous years back to him via certified mail (I had them because he had asked me to do his taxes after we broke up). Anyway, he did not pick up the certified mail and now it's being returned to me. Legally, what responsibility do I have to these papers? They have been in my possession for over 1 1/2 yrs and he never asked for them back, I just sent them to not have them in my possession anymore, but now what?

Re: Certified Mail

Send the records to him by United States Postal Service Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. You will be able to go online and printout that the itemes were delivered, without his having to sign for them.

Call me if you like.
