Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Change First / Middle Names At Marriage

I have read through the other posts and my situation is similar but not exact to that of another question. My birth names (first or middle) have never been used by my parents towards me. I have been called by a common nickname of my middle name. This gets confusing trying to tell doctors, employers, soc sec, etc that I am who I am (DMV is the worst).

Since I'm getting married next year, is it possible to switch my middle and first names at the same time as taking on a new last name?

Thanks in advance!

I don't know the answer to that question, but I believe you can. You should direct your question to the Social Security Administration.
