charges for picking up child support check by your own lawyer

It was prearranged between the two represented divorce lawyers that the child support payment of $150.00 be picked up at the law office of the custodial parent's lawyer and that same lawyer charges the client the $150.00 for picking up the check, is that legal and ethical?

I have never heard of such an arrangement. Are you sure about the charge or the reason for the payment? Insist payments be made through Probation. They don't charge anything.
