Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Child Abuse/Endangerment/Molestation

My 4 yr. old granddaughter in NJ recently had a conversation w/me while visiting. She said to me:

''Ma, guess what?'', ''My Daddy has a big thingey, and he likes when I touch it.'' How should I handle that kind of information?

I have read the other replies, and agree. However, as a former Assistant Prosecutor, you can also call the County Prosecutor where you live and report it to them. They are better equipped to handle these types of issues. Good luck.

This is a most serious situation and calls for the intervention of the legal authorities. You have several options including contacting the police where she lives and the New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services. Either will know what to do to initiate an investigation.

I would call the police in the town where she lives and ask them what you should do. They will investigate the situation and take the necessary steps. Hopefully, they will be able to tell the difference between something real happening vs. her imagining something.
