Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
child custody
I just asked a question and I agree I need a new lawyer however I am laid off and not really able to afford a new laywer. Can I go file some kind of papers thru the state or something to get my ex wife to follow the divorce agreements on the visitations since shes withholding them from me?

You definitely can file your own Motion, and you can get blank forms from the Family Court in Newark.
I have occasionally prepared such papers for litigants who are not comfortable doing them on their own, or who are afraid they will not set forth their best position. This is much less of an expense since I am not hired to appear in Court. If you are interested, call for an appointment. 973/661/3400.

Of course, you can file a motion pro se. I would first call the bar association and see if they have any advice as far as low cost fee programs and such. Best of luck to you.
