child custody

Father of the baby abandon me in my 4th month, I don't want him to have any custody of our child. Is their a way to get financial assistance from him without him getting custody or allowed unsupervise visits. He is back on drugs and with another woman.

Well he owes child support no matter what. Custody is a whole other issue. If he fights for custody, it may be tough to keep him totally away from the child.
