why did the judge in the stste of nj awarrd temporary custody to people with no case of abuse or neglect from mother

How would any of us know? We would have to get more information to see exactly what went down. However, if a family court judge did something for no reason, it wouldn't be the first time. I'm going to guess that no lawyer was there. This happens more often when you don't have a lawyer. For whatever reason, the tends to get thrown out with a lawyer present.
