does pregnant mother get cusody when abandoed by father and now decides he wants custody because he would rather pat support for his mother to raise child rather then natural mother?

What is likely is that the mother will have primary residential custody and the father will pay child support.

Yeah, I agree with Mr. Moore, you just don't get custody because you asked for it and there is always a bias towards the mother. If you have any other questions, feel free to drop me an email or a call.

nice. he abandoned you and now wants to save money by taking the child and dumping the baby on HIS mother.
the lawyers are correct, he is very unlikely to get custody unless there is something really wrong with you (drugs, something bad).
the Court Clerk should help you file an action for child support. you should file that action the day after the baby is born. this idiot has to support his child whether he likes it or not, but you have to get a court order forcing him to do it.
