Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Child Custody/ Child Support & Taxes

My ex wife and I have split custody of our two kids, however I have been the custodial parent every since the divorce because my ex works at night. She doesnt give me any child support and even claim my daughter on her taxes. Is it possible for me to get full custody and child support for both kids?

Re: Child Custody/ Child Support & Taxes

If the children are spending most nights with you, you should be designated the primary custodial parent. If this was not stated in your divorce judgment or subsequent Court Order you have to go back to Court by filing a motion to modify these specific terms.

You obviously have many questions. Why not sit down with an attorney to go over all of this? Some attorneys, such as myself, have free consultations.
