Re: Child Suport

Child support is calculated on the basis of his average, weekly net income. The more he earns the more he pays under the New Jersey Child Support Guidelines of the New Jersey Court Rules.

Call me if like, but not right now. I am having trouble sleeping and decided to go on line. Thursday is a good time.

Re: Child Suport

This question is impossible to answer with the information that you have provided. There are many factors that go into this calculation. The primary information is the gross wages of both parties. Other information includes the split of overnight time for the child with each of the parties, the cost of work related child care and health insurance for the child, and some other information required by the Child Support Guidelines, as set by the NJ Court Rules. All of this can be calculated in a relatively easy fashion by any attorney who practices Family Law.

Keep in mind that this information is given based on the scanty facts that you have provided. And no one can rely on advice from an attorney who has not been retained. In order to be able to rely upon any advice, you need to meet with and retain an attorney, who will be able to give you advice after a full and comprehensive interview. Before you do anything, you should contact an attorney for a full consultation. Feel free to call me to discuss your matter in more detail. Mention Law Guru and your first one hour consultation will be free. Good Luck! Rob Gleaner

Re: Child Suport

The other attorneys gave you good advice. Just want to add some more info. Make sure you bring all of your tax returns and pay stubs and demand that he have his. Otherwise, you don't know if the numbers are right. You probably don't need an attorney for this, but it never hurts.
