Under NJ law, a voluntary decision to terminate employment does not relieve you of a duty to pay child support. If you quit a job to go to school, you still will be held to your ability to earn. You don't say whether your daughter has financial aid, if she is full time, or what year she is in. Those are factors that might affect the outcome.
