Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Child Support

I have had a court order for several years regarding my ex to pay child support, he rarely pays it, but his mother knows where he is at, and my ex mail still goes to her home. ex never updated his new address with the courts, and when child support payments are made (rarely) someone is going into my local child support office and paying it. Isnt that aiding and abbeding? and what can i do to enforce that his mother be charged with aiding and abedding because ex is getting his mail somehow. and i want my child support. anything i can do?

Re: Child Support

I believe that what you are asking is how can he be located. He can be located. Do you have his social security number or his last known address?

After he is located a motion can be filed to reduce the child support arrearages to a judgment so that his assets can be levied upon.

Call me if you like.

Re: Child Support

I don't even need his SSN to find him. I have investigators that I work with that can probably find him. Let me know if you'd like me to put you in touch with him.

First, you should file a motion with the court. Then, worry about finding him. If you still can't, ask for a warrant to be put out for his arrest. They'll get him sooner or later.
