child support court

why was i not able to have any thing other than child support granted and was told one or the other not both that I would have to get a different court date for alimony, house & utilities

I guess you were in front of a hearing officer. Your question has no information in it. The real problem I have here is why don't you have an attorney. If you are in a position to possibly get alimony, you can and should have an attorney.
