child support emancipation

my child is 19 in feb. i am disabled and still pay support. have not seen my son in the past 7 years, as his father placed a res order against me. my son wrote my family and wants nothing to do with us. if i give up parental rights, will this emancipate my cild support?

Its not that easy. The surest way to have your child emancipated is to file with the court and state (if true) that they are not in college and are working. Other than that, you may have a difficult time without an attorney.
