Child Support responsability if laid off

My boyfriend just got laid off and he is responsable for child support and 77% of school tuition.

He gets paid salary for only another 7 months as part of a package he got for the lenght of service with his compny.. Do we need to continue to pay this or can we get a break until he gets another job

Re: Child Support responsability if laid off

He needs to immediately file for modification. Until the case is reheard, he needs to keep up the payments or he may be held in contempt of Court and face penalties that could even include jail.
