child support and settlement

I am in the process of receiving a settlement from an injury. I am currently paying child support for my son. I would like to know if child support can find out about my settlement and try to come after me for more money.

Re: child support and settlement

You are to receive compensation for a bodily loss which is NOT INCOME. Additionally, you child support obligation is based upon your average, weekly net income.
