Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Child support

My ex and I are switching roles with the kids, except that I he was going to waive any child support from me. Is there a law saying it can't be waived in NJ?

Re: Child support

He can not waive the right of the children to child support because the right belongs to the children, but he can advise the Court that he presently does not need support from you because he is able to support them without your assistance and/or you are currently not able to provide support.

In the future he can ask you for child support.

Call me if you like.
