child support/child care

i pay child care and support in nj and have job that pays 45.0 i want to relocate to fla the wages are much lower will i be able to get support lowered if i take pay cut by my own doing or must i continue to pay what nj courts determined based on current pay scale?

You, of course, can relocate to Florida. However, the Court would probably view the lower pay as a way to avoid paying child support and keep your income level at $45,000, especially if the job transfer is your choice.

Additionally, if your child is located in New Jersey, and because there is currently a New Jesey support Order, jurisdication will remain with New Jersey and be calculated under the New Jersey guidelines.
