Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
child support/visitation
We recently moved due to job relocation. Can the childs mother decline visitation?. And would a judge decline the right for the child who is a teenager to fly to see the other parent even if you are providing transportation?

No, the judge should grant visitation. Call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss.

You did not give details about a visitation order being in place or other issues such as child support being current.
Courts are likely to allow such parenting time if the child wants to see the parent. This can usually be arranged by consent if the other party cooperates. If not, a judge steps in.

Re: child support/visitation
Your moving does not cancel your visitation entitlement, only the way that it is exercised. If the child is 18 years of age, the child could not be compelled to visit against the child's will.

This should not affect visitation. However, if the case is in GA, you consult with a local attorney.
