Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Child Visitation

Hi. I have a question regarding visitation between my daughter's father and myself. My daughter's father was a drug addict for many years, acted irresponsibly, was homeless for a period of time, was in and out of her life until she was seven, and spent two weeks in the psychiatric area of a hospital. He has been off drugs for about two years now, but developed a drinking problem in its place. He is now attempting to obtain unsupervised visitation in his one bedroom apartment (which he shares with his live in girlfriend and their new baby) for weekends. I'm terrified that he's going to get them when he clearly doesn't have his life together yet. How can I stop him and what are the chances of him getting what he's requesting? Thank you sincerely for any help you can provide.
