Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
Child visitation - Supervised
I was awarded Supervised visitation because my wife left me and took the child and claimed our house was unsafe and that I was a Flight Risk. The judge order 3 hours a week at my unsafe home with my wife and her father as my supervision. He also order a Probation Dept home inspection. I went to court yesterday with the probation dept saying there was no need for Supervised Visits and the home was perfectly safe for a child, her laywer brought up the point that the probation dept failed to cover if i was a flight risk!. My wife also broke the court ordered 6 times and the judge didnt blink an eye. The judge ruled continued Supervised visits and this time at my wife's home(Her parents house) and her mother father and her to be the supervision. He also said I was to come alone and my mother was no longer allowed to see the baby. He now ordered a advocate to interview us all and when he gets that report we can go back to court. I pay 100% child support and cant see the baby but 3 hours. Is there anything I can do? The judgr also asked me a question and I answered honestly and he said he feels I lied to him and that credibility is a big issue and mine is now leaning towards bad.
