Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
Child's right to choose which parent to live with
My son is 14 and lives with his mother. He wants to live with me. Is there such a thing as reconcilable differences from a child's standpoint?

Re: Child's right to choose which parent to live with
The desire of a fourteen year old child to live with the other parent will be seriously considered so long as the other parent lives or conducts hisself or herself in a manner not in the4 best interest of the child.
