Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

My child's mother has sole custoy of our 4 year old son. She wants to put him in private school. I want him to go to a public school. Am I required to pay for part of the tuition if she decides to place him in a private school?

There are a couple of things to discuss. Private school tuition is one thing. Child support is another issue. Visiting with your son is another.

You need to file a motion with the Court for an order requiring the mother to consult with you as

to your child attending private school and for some controls upon you being committed to pay for

private school when public schools are available.
