Childsupport Formula

MY husbend is divorced and pays 86$ a week in childsupport my husbend makes 35 grand a year i make 10 grand a year we now have a child of our own and find it hard to pay the support. we have the child every weekend and have more expences now in our daily living . we would like to try to get it lowered but are affraid it will go up!

Child support obligations can be changed by the Court upon a showing of a substantial change of circumstance. What constitutes "substantial change" is varied and depends on the facts of each individual case. I would suggest that your husband immediately seek the advice of an attorney to review the specific circumstances and then a determination can be made as to the likelihood that child support may be lowered.
