Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

childsupport/divorce

is there any thing legally i can do. My ex husband was ordered to pay childsupport and has lied to the hearing officer about not having a job andthe hearing officer said my ex could pay whatever he can i recently found out he owns a business and a home he brought while we were married. As for the divorce he got out of state with out me knowning by putting a ade in a out of state paper.

Yes, but I'm not sure how far you will get on your own since you haven't gotten that far already. I would suggest you consult with an attorney. You really have to put the system to work for you instead of getting worked by the system.

If he got a quickie divorce in another state where he is not a resident New Jersey will not recognize the divorce. You can file for divorce in New Jersey and get all that you are entitled to.

His lies can be undone by returning to court.
