US Citizen vs. Canadian in Custody case

Does it matter that my ex husband is Canadian (lives here)? I am a US Citizen seeking full custody of our daughter. Do I have any advantga eliving here in the US?

I do not see the advantage. Canadians

come to this country and return home freely.

Unless he is trying to remove her from the US I am not sure is matters. Also you might be confusing custody with parenting time.
