Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
Help please Re: Civil Restraint Agreement
Quick and sweet. There was a TRO for Harrassment but was dismissed and replaced with a Civil Restraint Agreement. As per the CRA there is no communication between the 2 of us excpet VIA email and it is only in regards to our son. Now she was caught cheating and I am afraid that she gave me an STD. If I email her asking her if she had unprotected sex with this guy could a judge look at that as harrassment? If so how should I go about handling this?

Sorry to hear about your situation. To be safe, all communications should go through the attorneys. Good luck!
Re: Help please Re: Civil Restraint Agreement
Do not ask such a question. Have your lawyer ask that question.
If you do not have a lawyer, get one. It will cost you, but if you do not, it may cost you ten times more.
You have a child with her. You need a lawyer to handle custody, visitation and child support issues. If you were married, then there are additional serious issues.
I suggest that you get tested for STD in any case, just common sense.
Call if you like; I never charge for a first phone call.
You can then decide how you would like to proceed.

If you send her an email about something other than your son you will be in violation of the Order. Do not send the email to her; raise the issue in court.
Call me if you like.
