Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

I was coerced to sign an agreement with a woman who had me in court for a TRO. The county prosecutor stated if I didn't sign, then she would file a stalking charge on top of other pending charges. One stipulation to the agreement was we would both dismiss any municipal charges against each other. Three weeks later I received documentation that I never had charges pending or dismissed. I filed a motion to dismiss the agreement, the Judge found that my motion was frivolous and Order me to pay legal fees. Question: what are my options to get agreement canceled, and have the woman charged?

Sounds like you went to court without an attorney and when you do, this happens. You'd have to discuss this matter with an attorney in more detail to see all of your options. Filing a motion would have been your best option but you made the situation worse by filing it pro se. Call me anytime to discuss at 732/773/2768
