Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

cohabitation

I have alimony for life. I am cohabitation with someone and we each pay our own bills, and each pay 1/2 of the house bills. Half mortgage, utilites etc. The only thing is we have our names on each others bank accts but only for emergency purposes. My ex is trying to terminate my alimony. How easy will it be? I dont get any financial benefit from the person living with me. We each pay our own way. The title of the house is jt tenancy with right of survivorship. Will that screw me?

Re: cohabitation

As Mr. Moore said, he is going to have a real hard time. However, you may still want to consult with an attorney to review all the different possibilities along with your paperwork. My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340. Even though he may have a hard time, if you do lose it, I doubt you can get it back. Thus, you want to make sure that nothing goes wrong.
