Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

consent order not signed by the attorneys

I have a final divorce decree that was supposed to be signed by my attorney and my ex's attorney. It was never signed even though in the final divorce decree it states that my attorney has an executed copy, they do not. My attorney no longer represents me and my ex's attorney no longer represents him. How do I go about getting the consent form signed to garnish wages for child support and put it through probation.

You need to take the papers you have to another lawyer to make sure it gets done correctly. If there is a divorce judgment, it will be filed with the Court. Did you go to Court? If we can be of help, please call. If you mention Law Guru, the first consultation is free.
