Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

I am contemplating filing a postmatrimonial motion based on a change of circumstance. I would like to request that alimony be reinstituted and paid to

me due to a loss of job. I was originally awarded alimony which was paid to

me over a three year term, but that was 10 years ago. If asked for in my Order

would it be considered?

It is possible to win this, and your motion will be considered by the Court, as all motions are.

No opinion from me on how likely you are to be able to win, that will depend on how the Judge sees things. Numerous factors.

It seems that you have some serious issues, and you need additional alimony due to change of circumstances. I have seen additional awards many years later. It depends on the facts, and how the Judge views it.

Please give me a call to talk it over. The telephone discussion will be free of charge, and I will let you know what I believe I can do to assist you further.
