Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
Contribute to Son's College Education
I have had custodial custody of my of my son since he was eight, his mother and I are not married, and she did not pay child support during this time. I currently sending him to college and paying the majority of the cost 27k, but would like her to contribute directly to him 100 per month for misc cost. What are my chances if I take her to court. I think this is within reason.

Each parent has an obligation to pay toward support including post-high school education. It will be based on the respective abilities to pay but there will most likely be some amount imposed by a Court unless agreed upon.

I cannot share the opinions of the other attorneys. I've been on the other side of these cases and I've won hands down. I think you are going to have a big problem. Thus, I suggest you get a good attorney to help you.
