Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
Out of Court Family Division Agreement
My husband and I would like to know how to get the NJ Superior Court, Family Division, to record and acknowledge that we have come to a mutual agreement regarding our child support cases. I filed against him, and he filed against me, however, they have my payments and arrears set for an income that I have not had since 2003. Nonetheless, my husband and I have come to a mutual agreement and just need to know how to submit it to the Courts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I have had a problem receiving Court notices and have missed two appearances. They granted him sole custody of my two children, but he only filed for joint Legal custody. He does not wish to have custody of my daughter and wants to settle out of Court. How do we do this? An Agreement has already been drafted and sent to him for review. If he is in agreement with the terms, we'd like to submit it to both PA and New Jersey Family Division.

Of course, you can not rely on the advice of an attorney given over the internet. Also, the exact facts of your situation, including facts which you have not mentioned in your question, may completely change the result for your situation.
