i don't know if i can take this to court
my g/f is pregnant and we broke up, are breakup was non-violent and just mutual, but now she says she will not put my name on the birth certificate and is never going to let me see my child. it is deffinitly mine...can i take her to court, can i make sure i can be in my childs life? she can't keep me out of my childs life just because she doesn't like me right???

You may affirmatively file an action for paternity if you meet the jurisdictional requirements such as an act of procreation (intercourse) performed in NJ. If she disputes that the child is yours you can have the court order DNA tests. The right to parenthood is a fundamental right guaranteed by the US Constitution under Stanley v. Illinois and other US Supreme Court decisions. It's up to you enforce these rights.
